Since December 2015, Kavikonj has become a hub for workshops where facilitators are trained. Besides Iranians who live in Iran, Iranians from Canada, England, and Australia have also participated in the workshops. In addition to introductory workshops, Kavikonj has held advanced facilitating workshops with a focus on “team-building” and “organizing nature schools as a group.”
Kavikonj is a business with social concerns based on restoring children’s right to experience nature freely, directly, immediately, and regularly. Its continued flourishing is only possible if researchers, administrators, philanthropists, and activists of different stripes join forces to return to children a right to nature that they have been denied in contemporary urban Iran.
